Hi all. I’d like to find a leather side loading bag for a York 712. The bell is 18.25” and it’s about 37” tall.
If anyone has one that’s about right and would consider selling, please let me know.
Thanks.
WTB: Leather side loading bag approx. 18.25x37.5

Re: WTB: Leather side loading bag approx. 18.25x37.5
Wade's (new condition) isn't "cheap", but - being a new-condition bag (and considering the - approximately - doubling of prices since Cronkhite was sold - along with the hyperinflation, which has occurred since 2020), his price is certainly "fair".
That having been said, a "fair" price can still be outside of any particular individual's budget.
As far as (recently generated threads) this "shipping" thing is concerned (on top of Wade's reluctance to ship, which is 100% his prerogative ), I'm willing to be PART OF a "relay-style shipping chain" (if one can be worked out...??) to get Wade's leather bag to you, if you would like to purchase it (??) (I feel confident that I could get it as far as I-40 at the western edge of Tennessee, if Wade could manage to get it from Yazoo City to Greenwood. Obviously I-40 runs all the way out to Barstow, California - at which point there are several other connecting major routes, so...)
All of that having been said, I (personally) view one of the tall York 4-valve/front-action B-flats to be "worthy" of such a bag.

Re: WTB: Leather side loading bag approx. 18.25x37.5
Thanks Mr. Bloke.
I agree that Elephant's price is fair and I'd be happy to go in that direction, but he said that it fits a smaller belled 186 perfect. I think that is 16.5" and probably a bit long (which I can certainly deal with). The bell seems like it might be a problem though.
Thanks for the thought (I'd had the same thought and reread his ad twice or three times).
I have an old Tuba Exchange "Reunion Blues" bag that was made in Canada that fits it pretty well that Superfine Cases repaired for me (thank you). Must have been made after the California era but before the made in China era. It works fine so I'm not in dire straits, but like mentioned about, I think the horn is worth it. I really like the firmness of the leather on my 6/4 bag.
Next up, leather for my 15x33 York Eb?
At some point in time, I'll ask Superfine Cases to make one for the 4/4 York as he is on the way driving to visit my Dad. Jut thought I'd cast a line for a used bag (I sort of like the lived in look of used, as used looks like I've been around awhile and know what I'm doing. )

yeah...sorry...
I forgot about the "only fits vintage 186" thing.
I was thinking 17-3/4", and figured that 18+" would squeeze into that.
