Well, Let's Crack Open This Cask…

Yeah, someone is reporting to the Marxist Brothers, so I felt it in my best interest to play their game and delete my post. Sorry. It is unnerving to post where you think you are safe only to read your own words on freaking Reddit.
I am off Facebook (deactivated) for a day or two. (If I didn't need that place so much to stay in touch with so many I would make it an account deletion, but a simple deactivation is okay for now.)
See y'all around soon.

I just realized that we cannot yet post youtube vids. Will you be adding that tag set to the board? I tried to use them as we did at that other place, but they did not work.Tuba Forum Admin wrote:sweet! glad you had everything all archived.

I gave up and deleted the tags, posting the unlinked url instead.
Re: Well, Let's Crack Open This Cask…
I've read that it was very likely Farah who did that; which, considering how much you offered on hers and Sean's site, is very immature and ungracious.the elephant wrote:II guess you could say that I was "triggered" by the childish "BORING" avatar they assigned all my posts until my account info had been deleted.

I feel i should know the specific Vincent Price moment in that picture, but i'm drawing a blank...
And i guess i'm admitting defeat. Where's it from?

I'm glad to know your content isn't lost. I can understand your desire to consolidate everything into a booklet style compilation, but I will miss getting fed little tidbits every day. Seeing your name bumping those threads always made me a little more excited.
Re: Well, Let's Crack Open This Cask…
You could make a forum solely on Wade's work, and I'd subscribe.
I'm glad you did that, Wade. They shouldn't be allowed to get traffic from all of your work after the way they treated you.

It's from his "Thriller" recitation on The Late Show in 1987.humBell wrote:I feel i should know the specific Vincent Price moment in that picture, but i'm drawing a blank...

I think my favorite Price movie is still the Abominable Doctor Phibes.
But yeah, i haven't seen nearly enough of his work...

Elephant, very glad you have it archived.
some of your posts on the old site are not only nonsensical, but locked. It would have been a huge loss to many of us.

Re: Well, Let's Crack Open This Cask…
The 186 thread was given one last toot by Ally, who remarked that it was a shame that my posts were not there in these threads. They locked that. The Holton thread is still open, but yes, with all my content gone it is just lots of comments about things no longer there. (I may have which thread is locked backward, but it doesn't really matter.) Thanks for your comments, though.

Re: Well, Let's Crack Open This Cask…
It was sad how they destroyed them. And a lot of people seem to have been intentionally run off, in addition to all the people who quit. It's like Mr. Chisham wants the place to die. If that was his goal why didn't he just turn it off?
I look forward to reading the posts that will be made in this section. It will be fun for me to see all the posts by different users with all the pictures.

Re: Well, Let's Crack Open This Cask…
I will try to get some work done today, but I have not been feeling well for a while now and it is hard to get back up and running after a break, sometimes.
I will see whether I can post some photos in some thread about some project or other at some point today.
