I went back and found my Mammoth thread, and it was indeed you who suggested the furniture refinishing idea, so I posted a picture of my stripped horn on there.

Now, back to your regularly scheduled sousaphone thread...

I prefer the smaller bell. It sounds fine, lighter, and doesn't get bumped into as often.

Sousy gig bag is nice but not required.
