Since the thread is high school band trivia, I saw that yesterday the country’s oldest high school band celebrated the 150th anniversary of its first performance.

The second-from-left is a teenage boy whose hair was too long (and too well groomed).
Today, they have very short hair, are in charge of the HVAC systems at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, are probably planning on retiring soon, and have never stopped playing their clarinet.
