weird Easter

Post by bloke »

I hope everyone's working on Easter, but - if someone isn't, and isn't sleeping in or cutting their grass or heading off to brunch - I'm (surprisingly to me) playing euphonium on everything (no tuba  ) on Easter Sunday. The live stream service is 9:00 a.m. Central Daylight Time.

oh... and if you DON'T want to hear it, they are NOT live streaming the 11:00.

Pretty soon, they can just have cardboard alters, and the rest of it can be "deep fakes" (including video recreations of actual known church members, etc.), such as the people in the pews and the choir.
I wonder if we're going to a system like in Sweden. whereby the government pays for the church, and most all church members are atheists...??

I remember when 40, 50, and 60-year-old church members or couples would pick up old folks and bring them to church.
