For a long time, our credit card processor has been refunding the processing fees back to us, which we found to be amazing (cool-amazing), but we've been told that they can no longer do this.

Our mark-ups are less than most others, so we've decided to not eat it.
With refunds, the approx. 3% processing fee will not be refunded, since we won't be getting that back either.

The secure links to pay (emailed) might (??) end up in your "junk mail".
Whether I'm correct about this or not, this cc processor is very popular, the "old guard" ones hate them (because they've lost so many customers to them), and I wouldn't be surprised if they paid the goo-goo-ga-ga mail peeps (et al) to automatically feed those to "junk mail" folders.
