I'm not familiar with this model. is this like a 4-valve 14K?

4 valve Eb. I’ve never played one but I have heard they are one of the good Eb sousaphones to get. The 3 valve version is the 26k.

replaced water in 2017
...
Weights over 50lbs
Filled it up 6 years ago and it's still half full!

(OK, I guess if the weight includes the case, 50 lbs might not be unreasonable.)

My guess would be 23 - 25 lbs.

4th valves add considerable weight (regardless of overall length and overall size).

The fact that Fat Bastard (large diameter tubing (tubing is regular Miraphone wall thickness) with five valves weighs as little as it does, defines that the bell and bows are remarkably thin (read...according to what many perceive/believe: "crummy/cheap")
