I better get busy building more fake cabinets…

Or I’ll just have to say all my tubas were lost in a tragic boating accident along with everything else I can’t own. :)

unless you're painting tubas in lead-based paint and permanently affixing them to the structure, I don't believe there's much to worry about here. But that lead-painted tuba weather vane on the roof is completely out of spec.

Here's what I could never figure out...

In the game of "CLUE" - OK...I suppose I can understand bloodying some one up (if they're just willing to sit or stand there and take it, but...how in the hell is someone supposed to kill someone else with a lead pipe?

Is there anything in California that is not known to the State of California to cause cancer, and to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm?

Most fast food places here have signs saying that food or beverages sold here have ingredients that are known to the state to cause cancer.

I guess your states just aren’t as “enlightened”…

What a damned downer to have to post in a FOOD establishment...They should sue their states.

My Dad used to say something as a way to make fun of those who would sincerely say [what's quoted below] as - supposedly - a way to try to encourage guests to eat more...YET (in reality) it was just about the MOST UN-appetizing thing that someone could possibly say to someone else:
EAT UP...WE'RE JUST GOING TO HAVE TO FEED IT TO THE HOGS !!!
To me, an "OUR FOOD CAUSES CANCER" sign would be equally unappetizing. :red:

The ends of that pipe look pretty knife-edged. I say it's a stabbing weapon.

It's getting to be where there are two kinds of people...

Those that don't live there and people that don't want to live there! :teeth:

I'd say, it was a nice place to visit when I wanted to visit.

But there are A LOT of places like that now.

I'm sure it's just me. :coffee:

California has been that way for a long time. I lived there, very briefly, in 1970. At the time, I noted, "this is a police state. I do not want to live here." And left.

A non-Californian, I find many of their state policies to be . . . misguided. But last week, for the first time in my life, I had the opportunity to drive from Napa to San Francisco. Now that was some beautiful scenery!!
