<<< EDIT >>> i forgot to say the price is $2K plus shipping... my location is southern KY.
I have a very lightly used JP179B 3/4 BBb front action 4 valve tuba. I bought it while my back was bad and i thought i was going to be limited. the miracles of physical therapy enabled me to regain my back and return to the king. it's really only been played in my studio... i have only taken it to a couple of rehearsals. The reaction from others when i took it in was "well! look at that cute little fellow! he'll be a handsome tuba when he grows up!" i expected this... but they changed their minds after rehearsal and were surprised at the sound. at one rehearsal i was the only tuba there and i asked the conductor afterwards if i was loud enough... he said plenty loud.
i have NEVER sold a tuba on line and shipping is a concern. it will be a new experience and i'm having to learn as i go... so i will appreciate the buyer's patience and assistance. i will leave the cost of shipping, insurance, and mode of shipping to the buyer. i will do my very best to package the instrument in the case, in the original box.
here are pictures and a short video of the instrument. my apologies for the video, i'm not a good videographer and am shamefully, not practicing much these days since there's nowhere much to play.
since i'm not using the horn, i decided to sell it to finance some new toys... we all like toys right? ... :D
the horn was chem cleaned a month ago but i have played it a couple of times...

These things are very high-grade with really nicely fit/aligned pistons, and well-aligned slides.
Further, if someone really wanted to "tweak" circuit lengths to their personal idiosyncrasies, that would be very easy to do without any noticeable cosmetic issues.
If someone is in the market for a YBB-621, this is THE thing to purchase, instead.
...and - just fwiw - there's a looks-the-same-in-pictures thing like this that is/was seen on one or two old store websites...It's not the same thing, and not made at the same place.
