Wtb: 5 valve C tuba. Silver preferably

Post by EmptyCase »

I’m going into my freshman year of college but LSU, as big of a school as it is, doesn’t have one I can use. My budget is around 6k ish. Silver is preferred and I’m also willing to drive a long ways. Let me know!

I have a pt-7, it’s a little out of your budget, but it’s a good horn.

Bump. Let me specify I’m not looking for a 6/4. 5/4 preferred

There's a Miraphone 188 for sale on this site. You might call that 5/4, or maybe just stout 4/4, but it's not silver and you might not want to drive to Los Angeles.

I have a nice C tuba I should sell, but it's definitely smaller than 5/4 and only has 4 valves.

That's pretty disappointing that the school can't arrange for something. Good luck in your search.
