Selling my Rudolf Meinl 4345 4/4 CC. 4 pistons, no 5th valve. Bought new in 2007, she’s an older horn now but still has the same playability and sound she did when she was new. Has some minor cosmetic wear and tear. Lacquer tarnish on the bell as well as in small places around the horn. Also has some peeling on the tuning slides from my sweaty palms. Has some love dents but nothing bigger than the size of a dime. I made one modification to it. I replaced the plastic valve guides with metal ones after the first valve guide broke many years ago. It is possible to retrofit/Frankenstein a 5th rotary valve onto this horn if desired. Had the service offered to me when I bought it and declined.
My asking price is $5000. The horn is located in Tulsa, OK. I am willing to ship at the buyer’s expense. Also willing to drive a reasonable distance. The custom gig bag pictured is also included.
