Is there a readily available source for generic post/flange braces for laypeople?

Is that $15 per flange?

My goodness.

I used to have a huge assortment of them, but when I started adding 5th valve to instruments and building Frankentubas, I'm almost completely out right now

I have tons of smaller braces, trumpet braces, and silver brazed things, but I definitely need some more post/flange-style ones. For $15/flange on that website, it might make more sense just to get a junker body and harvest the parts.

Folks with Allied access, are these cheaper through Allied, (or I guess the question is, would they be cheaper even after going through my local shop and paying a modest markup + tax and shipping)?

here's an idea...
Contact instrument innovations, and ask them how much they would charge to make you a dozen of them,

They are very nice people, and the worst they can say is NO

Yes...$15...same as this:

Not that we weren't previously on a destructive path, but countless trillions of printed covid and others-wars dollars have continued to decimate the dollar.

Thanks Mark, I will give them a shot. I had one of their grip things for my old bass trombone and I was very happy with that product and the price.
