John Packer 179Bb

Post by ronr »

I'm selling my Packer 179Bb. I purchased this horn directly from Bloke in Spring of 2023.

It's a 3/4 size tuba, with 4-front action valves, a 14.5 yellow brass finish, and a .689-.728 bore. I'm selling it because I want a horn with a little bigger bore. The horn is in new condition with very few scratches and no dents.

Horn will come with a Packer hard case, and the mouthpiece it shipped with. I'm happy to discuss shipping options with anyone interested, and further inquiries are welcome. The horn is currently located in Minneapolis, MN.

Asking $2500. Actual horn is not pictured, but pictures available on request.

I bought a couple of these from bloke when I was a band director. They held up and played well.
