Just got one, along with a bright green reusable grocery bag and a branded memo pad, gracing a set of dent hammers.

Maybe I should schedule mine for a "restoration"...or (as the Germans put it) a "Technische Überprüfung".

I do, in fact! I wasn't expecting it when I ordered a soldering jig from them, so it was a nice surprise (along with a pen and a notepad). Especially since my other lunch bag that I had used for more than a decade finally bit the dust.

You are referring to the one eBay seller from Poland, I guess?.
I never understood why he is using these words. It just means that a "technical inspection" has been performed. He never claims that the horn is fixed, or restorated, only that it has been inspected. And nobody knows the outcome of that inspection. ...

In English, he posts "technical review".

Stuff looks good in pictures, but a bunch of it is old, and - well - I can't feel clanky clockspring linkage nor feel leaky rotors when looking at 2D pictures.

...so "przegląd techniczny" then...??

If you send me enough gimmicky Ferree's dent machine attachments (that I don't have and - admittedly - don't need) I might be able to (even) supply you with a TubeNet thong, in exchange.

(something those thongs and some of those attachments have in common: made to sell, but really not to use)

Maybe that's what's wrong...
What if - after all - I'm not really needing that stint...??
