This is for buying or selling your personal equipment, but sponsored selling is allowed as well. We are requiring all ads to have the following information. Price, (even for trades) Brand, Model, and location (for instruments, not accessories) need to be included in the ad, or at least be very clear in link provided. It is acceptable to link to an external ad if you are promoting a sale of your personal equipment. No Ebay Auctions, but Buy it now listings are fine. Photos are HIGHLY suggested as well. If you see an ad that does not meet these criteria, please report it.
For sale is a 1934 Pan American sousaphone bell in silver plate. The silver plate is almost completely intact. It's got a number of dents, small creases, and scratches, but is pretty smooth overall. It was gold-wash in the bell at some point, but has really worn off. You could probably carefully buff it off and have it all be silver. The flare is 24" and the bell tenon is 6" in diameter. I have the elbow that connects to the body of the sousaphone too, if you're interested. The three screws and flanges are all different, but they work.
I'm asking $200 plus cost of packing and shipping (if needed). Located in Lincoln, NE. Below is a link to a google drive folder of photos, plus a few highlights.
