Are you able to remove the padding and use as extra padding with the new one? It would add weight but might be with it? Or maybe cut the case up and use the padding as a seat cushion. 🪑💺

Not a bad idea. Someone asked for it to see if they can repair it, still waiting on what their hobby seamstress friend thinks.

Also might cannibalize the zippers as replacements.
