Go for the Colorado opera job, make a good package

Combining both, it’s $38,000 per year max (max at the uni and assuming the upper bound on the services at the opera).

There are people making more than this with zero education past high school and do so at a single location and probably have better benefits. Plus they are potentially younger.

It’s just wild to contemplate.
