Longshot -- anyone traveling PNW through Midwest?

Specifically, from Portland to Minneapolis. Obviously a longshot, but figured I'd ask because sometimes you get lucky. :tuba:

Thanks!

Brett,
My sister and her husband will be driving from Portland to Brainerd in either July or August. Give me a shout if you finalize something, I can run details past her.

Hi Tim, wow, that's amazing. I'll be in touch about it in a few days. A very large travel companion, but well-behaved.

Best solution, would be Amtrak, since the empire builder goes straight from St Paul to the West Coast up there. But that takes a long time, something like 36 hours each way. Flights actually are pretty cheap, but I'm not sure I want to deal with the uncertainty of a cheap flight airline with a large non-human passenger.
