TRAVEL TUBA- Soundcheck - Melton and Wessex with 3 different mutes

Here is my completely unbiased test of two travel tubas: the Wessex Bubbie and the Melton Trolley, two very different instruments. The Wessex is slightly slimmer, while the Melton almost feels like a full-sized F tuba. Both come in a slim case and with a mute. The Wessex comes with the Mike McLean, and the Melton with the Voigt Brass.

To me over my terrible computer speakers they both sound like bass trombones, a bit tinny. The Melton had more color.
