Eastman 534 vs 632 size comparison

Post by shovelingtom »

Hi all,

I’m looking to get a bag for my Eastman 632. I’ve found a new already made bag that’s labeled as being for a 534.

My understanding is that both of these horns have 19.75 inch bells and are 34 inches tall and I’m making an assumption that the 632 a should fit in the 534 bag pretty much perfectly.

Is there anyone out there that’s using the same bag for both of these horns, has a couple to compare side-by-side, or whatever who can verify for me that the two instruments are basically identical with the exception of the 534 being longer and the 632 having an extra valve?

Thanks!

No connection to the seller but he told me he used it with a 632:

Some old Yorks, Martins, and perhaps a King rotary valved CC
