Eb Sousaphone Part in Barber of Seville

Post by arpthark »

Okay, not in the music, but on the stage! I loaned out my Reynolds Eb sousaphone for a local opera company's production of Barber of Seville. They comped me tickets and I went to see it tonight. Fantastic show! Major props to the Salt Marsh Opera out of Stonington, CT. Cool digs at the United Theatre in Westerly, Rhode Island.

It made a reappearance in the final act, wielded by Figaro himself.
