Speaking of buffing…

Post by MiBrassFS »

I wanted just enough buffer to do a bit of this or that. Had to be big enough to reach some stuff and have enough oomph to do some good. BUT, not be big enough to, you know, invite requests…

Rated for 8” (5/8” hole) buffs, it has 2 speeds (1725 and 3450 rpm), a 3/4 hp brushless motor, and extended 3/4” arbor shafts (overall is 24”). Runs amazingly smoothly and the price was incredibly right. Came with a couple of cheapo sewn cotton buffs (shown), which have already been swapped out.

That's the nicest-look sub-horse buffer I've ever seen.

My biggest (multi-horse) has longer axles (and is belt driven) but not all that much longer.

It was $134 on Amazon. They popped up and have now disappeared. The link is now dead. Closest one I can find (looks exactly the same, but painted a different color… probably the same maker in china…) is $400.
