I believe you are correct. Did some digging, and it seems Min Leibrook is likely the tuba on the 1932 Whiteman/Grand Canyon Suite recording, as Fred Pfaff had apparently left the band by that time.DandyZ629 wrote: Tue Jun 09, 2026 3:24 pm It could be Min Leibrook, but I’m not sure when he left the Whiteman Band.
It's cool to see Fred Pfaff on the old Conn orchestra clip from the 1930s, but he wasn't with the Whiteman Band anymore...
