Warburton tuba mouthpieces don't receive the attention they deserve, IMHO. When I had a 24J, a Warburton 30D was by far my favorite. Lots of booty in the sound, but enough brightness to let the sound penetrate, and without the dreaded woof.
Yeah, lots of non-specific verbiage there . . .
Ha! I'd love to see this in official MP specs.
33mm I.D.
7mm wide rim, semi flat
Moderate amounts of booty
No dreaded woof
$500
Makes about as much sense as Conn's ad copywriting that says the Helleberg produces a "deep, organ-like tone." Which organ? Maybe gallbladder?

Well, we know the obvious answer there, but good taste prevents us . . .

Looking to buy some mouthpices for two Eb tubas, been looking around quite a bit, but looking for some good suggestions. They are for a school band so not anything too expensive. :)

I do own the Packer. The video above is for my Boosey & Hawkes Imperial Eb I just acquired (DW3 is the mouthpiece used). The video below is the first video of the Packer - I have several other videos featuring the Packer. The mouthpiece I like best for the Packer is the Sellmansberger Imperial.
