That's fine. Of course it's your tuba.
The smaller Fafner/2265 bell (or 2165 bell made smaller via that tone ring thing) projects more for the same player effort...ie. requires less work on the player's part.

Remember when I said I probably wouldn't get a 6450 bell to complete this tuba's transformation into a 6450?
Well...
I ordered one. Expensive, but as I thought it over, if I'm doing this, I want to take it all the way.
90-120 day estimated delivery (like with everything else).
Even with that, I'm STILL under current Tuba Showroom 6450 pricing.
I believe it only comes in silver. Two-toned tuba, here I come!

This reminds of replacing a computer 1.component at a time. Before long everything is new except the case.

Once you've received the bell, would you be willing to share how much it costed? Since you've shared how much the other parts have costed you so far. If you decide to not sure share no biggie.
