Very well done! Your "new to you" horn sounds terrific. Thank you for rescuing it from that closet!

I'm listening on my phone, but/and that's the full/real brass choir version, correct?
You sound good, and I'm glad you lucked into the horn !

I should really update the title of this thread, as it's not really "new to me" anymore.
So, I played this tuba today at my yearly Easter service performance, and am generally pleased with it.
Okay, it's a 3v BBb. Not every pitch was totally in tune. I did my best. The open F is still about 10 cents flat, and you can hear it sometimes. Most old American BBb's suffer from the same flat notes, OH WELL!! I cracked some notes. Quite a few in-staff C's. OH WELL!!
I'm also being entirely too hard on myself. I enjoy playing this tuba. And I think it sounds great.
I am also glad it's not my ONLY tuba, as it was a little much for small ensemble. Normally I'd use my Willson F for this gig, but it's still not in my possession.
Anyway, I recorded what we played on my iPhone. I hope you enjoy. Again, I really like this tuba. I'm glad I have it and glad I'm able to get it out for people to hear it. I'm sure this is the tuba's first real performance, for people, in decades.

Sounds pretty "old to you" as it were -- seems like you are getting along great with the instrument. It's been cool watching and listening to this thing get resurrected, and it makes me so happy that a great big old tuba like that is finally getting to make music again -- and that you are the one doing it!
