I am currently looking through some PDF's of the music for a cheesy outdoor orchestra concert in about a week and a half (you know: filthy lu¢re), came across a medley from "Mamma Mia!" (I've never played the show, nor watched the movie, and know nothing about the movie/show), scrolled down to where some (not-at-all difficult) but continuous tuba playing occurs in the chart, read through the bass line, and began to hear the melody to "Dancing Queen" in my head. (You're just going to have to believe/trust me that I had NO idea that the song "Dancing Queen" was used in this show...I did barely know that it is an ABBA tune, but did NOT know that ABBA and "Mamma Mia!" are related...yeah: just not much up on pop culture at all ...The tunes are NOT labeled in the medley sheet music.)
ie...
Here's the bass line/implied chord progression...so - from this - sing the melody and name the song.
maybe (??) I am (sort-of, at least...) a half-@$$ "musician"...with some skillz...(??)
