Hi all - I have been invited by the folks at J. W. Pepper to help host the original Sousaphone while it is on display at the upcoming Allentown Band concert (see info below). If you've ever wanted to see that historic instrument up-close and personal, here's your chance!

May we toot on it even if we don't donate?

TY.
I’m cheap but I didn’t want to come right out and say it.
But now the YOU mentioned it…

While I have had the opportunity to play this instrument in the past (2015), I am not "in charge" of it this go around. I was invited by the folks at J. W. Pepper to be there to answer questions about the horn's history. But those folks are good people, so it couldn't hurt to ask - and have your mouthpiece in your pocket in case they give you the green light!
