WTB: King 2340 / 2341 Recording Bell

Post by tuba_downunder »

Please note I am located in Australia so please consider this (shipping and handling) in your response.

Unfortunately not available locally, so trying my luck here if anyone is willing and able to help.

I have a King 2340 with upright bell, I want a matching recording bell.

Prefer lacquer, case or no case is fine.

Please message with what you’ve have.

You occasionally see these posted on eBay in the US. The recording bell is not as coveted as the upright bell for these so they typically go for a bit cheaper. But, I am not sure if shipping to Australia is possible for the American eBayers who frequently post this sort of thing for sale.

There is a rough King 1240/2340 with a recording bell on Ebay with a starting bid of $500 right now. Shipping to Australia is going to be killer though.
As amateur as they come...I know just enough to be dangerous.

Thanks @York-aholic

I definitely need a collar to go with it, I won’t be able to find the missing parts locally.
