Premiere of the Wilhelm Wieprecht Concertino on a new Moritz Tuba

Post by TheBerlinerTuba »

Demonstration of the Moritz-Wieprecht Tuba replica, newly built by The Berliner Tuba Werkstatt.
It's the last few bars of the Wilhelm Wieprecht Concertino, one of the very first concerto type works written in the late 1830s for the then newly invented chromatische Baßtuba in F.

Tubist: Jack Adler-McKean
Pianist: Jia Lim
St.Bonifatius in Berlin-Kreuzberg, Germany
19th of October 2024

Jack Adler-McKean will be making a recording/video of the entire Concertino in the coming weeks. Stay tuned.
