Special shout out to the people cooking for hours to make a wonderful meal.
Live NOW FOX channel/app is showing whole Parade without commentators or commercials.
So nice to see the bands without someone talking.

Ditch the lame acts.
Mo marching bands and balloons.
Make the Macy’s parade great again!

Those poor people are really suffering in that parade, today... hard rain, miserable cold.
bloke is broadcasting from a remote location, today. Please do not try to raid and pilfer from blokeplace. Someone is housesitting for us, and is armed and jumpy.

Tryptophan coma!
The Dude - one of my rescue fosters that I adopted from a decade ago - is completely Zonked Out - the after effects of gobbling up too much turkey today. Snoring to beat the band!
We cooked it outside on the Weber - best turkey ever. It couldn’t cook fast enough for my crew of three adopted rescues. They inserted themselves to the head of the line for first dibs when it was done cooking. Guests could wait for theirs!
Happy Thanksgiving!

I got to see a whole bunch of first cousins of my grandchildren do which I'm not related. Those are signs of hope and thanks. At the end of the day about 10 minutes ago I got a call from my older brother that his former wife had died, as she was in very poor health but had managed to gain 20 lb of very badly needed weight back and a bit of strength and was actually going to leave the house for the first time in quite a few months for Thanksgiving dinner with my brother, her daughters, and the husband of one of the daughters. She actually had a massive stroke at the doorway on the way out and passed away several hours later. There's no need to express sympathy, I haven't seen her in literally decades, though she has been in my thoughts. She simply didn't take care of her health and paid the price. I know she hadn't been having any fun. If there is an existence after this one, I'm sure she's already having much more fun than she's been having. Mrs. bloke and I get one more day with my daughter's husband and children, a Pittsburgh Symphony pops-ish concert, and then back home to check on and reassure The Menagerie. I know everyone had a great Thanksgiving, and I hope those who otherwise would not have had people reaching out to them.
