Is Tubenet busted?

I am not sure where this belongs, since it's not related to this forum, but it is KINDA musical, since Tubenet has a lot of musical stuff on it. Has anyone else experienced downtime on the site and also not being to log in anymore? I tried to set up another account, but it just didn't go past the "agree to terms" part.
Let me know if this belongs elsewhere, and I'll post it there instead.

Websites go down all the time. The difference between this one and that one is we have the great @ParLawGod to keep us up and running and they have admins that barely check in once a year

For me, it does recognize me still from my last time logging in.
But normal content says "temporarily unavailable. Try again in a few minutes.
Ads seem to be working just fine.
Hope they figure things out.

The message currently on TubeNet occurs when an admin goes into the control panel and personally deactivates the board. I'm assuming this means he's working on it. If it's a software issue it'll be up and running quickly I would assume. If it's a database issue that would be quite bad...

The fact that TubeNet is NOT using https in 2025, is pretty awful.

I never even give TubeNet a second thought. I have no reason to since the current administration and mods have banned me.

Though tubaforum.net may be a little eccentric on this point. It seems to me that most sites with authentication cookies will automatically switch you over to
https:. Here, you stay on
http:, with missing identity.

This is my favorite part about most websites these days. The ads work JUST FINE. Load quickly and smoothly. Never seem to lag or get choppy. Then the actual content you want never fully loads.

I remember years ago Sean wanted out of dealing with it. A lot of work and he probably had an active dislike for those of us who didn't agree with his politics. Then a large number of us left. It would not surprise me if Tubenet never comes back online.

I'm trying really hard not to sound snarky, but Sean created the mess now known as TubeNet. And his policies alienated some people. I say it's a slow death long overdue.

PHEW it’s such a relief that there’s NO political agendas ever being expressed here! /sarcasm
A huge shout out to the moderators who take the time regular remove political posts.

For such a know-it-all you sure are an ignorant person. You absolutely do not understand any of this, so you probably need to shut up for a whle and listen. I'm sick of people likr you "helpfully explaining" to me what it is that I am saying, thinking, or feeling about things. You know
nothing of me whatsoever, yet you have quite the opinionated brain and a comically big mouth.
You moron,
I was siding with you, but your jackass-like observations and accusations just converted me to be someone who hopes sincerely to never meet you in real life.
You need to learn to STFU and stop shooting yourself in the foot. You just lost an ally. Go pound some sand, son.

Dammit, I'm on vacation. Just landed in Greece and I'm tired of the bickering. Colby, your account is deactivated for now. If you get both Joe and Wade calling you a twit, you've Dunn messed up

This might be of interest though also a bit off topic but relates to other posts:
Back when the old forum was overran with spam accounts and R rated ads, I had mentioned to the ITEA leadership about taking over the forum or starting one for the community (without being members but to embrace the community). There was no interest in this from the leadership at the time and was quickly dismissed.
When they revamped the website after the creation of this forum, ITEA added forums.
https://iteaonline.org/forums/
There isn't any activity on there, but they had a golden opportunity to do wonders with this. In my professional and honest opinion, this was a huge miss for the organization. Though there is something that exists now, this was brought in entirely too late to gain traction.
I would like to thank my first tuba teacher, @LeMark , for doing such a wonderful job helping create and moderating this forum.

I just clicked on the ITEA forums link. Clearly, their main concern is not music or tubas/euphoniums. They discredit themselves.

Why? Does it say something? I finally got logged back in and all it says is that the board is temporarily down and to try again in a few minutes.
