yeah...Those were back in style (for a few years - only twenty-or-so years later...but I don't recall anyone in my high school with a waist line resembling that epic one (vs. today, whereby it's common - sporting a belly of those dimensions...My own 12th-grade trousers' waist size was 34"x32"-34", and I considered myself to be "not thin").

These (wool...HOT, until October) trousers hit pretty high...probably (at least) at the "true" waistline.
11-year-older sister insisted on a pic...Conn 36K fiberglass being loaded into the (400 cu in / 2 bbl) 71 Catalina before some game/parade/whatever...

("textured" photo paper...1970's anti-fingerprints gimmick)

I'm thinking those glasses were some that - hi-tech, for that time - would darken in the sunlight and return to clear in low light. They probably cost a whole bunch of money. My mom didn't buy me a whole bunch of things (and I didn't ask), but - every once in awhile - she doted on me.

K stood for "Kingsbury". We would write the brewery up in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, include a couple of stamps, and try to get them to send us batches of these coasters...
