HN White Pit Tuba model 1280 - $4000 +shipping/handling

I've taken a strong look at what I'm doing, and my goals with playing /living, over the last few months and have come to the sad decision of putting this tuba up for sale. Didn't think I would be doing this, but I need to be realistically honest with how things are going. Playing tuba just isn't getting the same reaction out of me and it feels weird to have a bunch of giant instruments sitting collecting dust. So here's a bit of a treat for a tuba!

22" bell, .687" bore, four valves, old style King brass lacquer.

I believe this one was owned by Dan Schultz. Very fine shape, one dent in the upper branch of the body. String added to water keys to allow for easier function. All slides and valves work well. It'll come with a single bit for the mouthpiece.

I took this horn to a 'Windjammers' convention in Gettysburg a few years back. Great horn. It had very little wear on it when I owned it and I suspect that hasn't changed much.

It's a very good playing tuba, practically identical to the silver .750" bore model I had previously... just wish it was smaller and not as heavy as the Monster King rotary models.

Kinda sad that HN White didn't make a more standard size, 4/4, rotary tuba.

They did, but they are in CC.

And by all accounts, the King CC tubas were "not easy" to play.

Bump. I have a box big enough for the body, but I'd have to make one for the bell to ship it.
