Anyone have a Denis Wick 1 or 2 (non-L), or Perantucci 'XS', or other small-shank-for-old-UK-instrument mouthpiece they would like to move on? Let me know!

It might help if you tell folks which country / state you’re in, just a friendly suggestion which I hope you take in the same way as it’s offered.

Small shank mouthpieces aren’t necessarily easy to get hold of and particularly so those with bigger cups. I’ve some around the Wick 3 size, even gave a passable Wick 3 to a good pal a few weeks back, but the larger ones never seem to come up for sale - and if they do then they’re out of my modest budget.

If there is such a thing then a list of the alternatives with small shank might help.

Good luck.

Edit. It occurs to me that if you are in the USA then you might like to reach out to Doc, he’s played several old British imports and they’ll likely have used small shank mouthpieces.

I have a Perantucci PT49XS I'm willing to let go of. It's a fairly large mouthpiece, 32.5mm. I'm in the U.K. shoot me a message if your interested.

Wilf.

I have a small shank mouthpiece that was made in England. It is thus marked and stamped with G84. It seems the size and cup shape is close to the Wick 2. It is in excellent condition.
