For the 3rd Advent I would like to present you a piece for solo tuba. The Fantasia No.2 by Georg Philipp Telemann TWV 40:3.
It was originally composed for flute and has long been one of the standard pieces for flute. Why not for the tuba too? :tuba:

This recording is a live recording from a musical church service from the 1st of Advent from the church of St.Laurentius in Drolshagen / Schreibershof

Thank you. Well done. This is a favorite of mine. For 10 years I played only tuba. Then I took up soprano recorder and it really opened my eyes to a new world (and clef) musically.

 I played it 38 years ago on flute, my second instrument after recorder, and loved it. I wish I could manage it on tuba ... Nice played, thanks for sharing.

That was fun. Thanks for the tip for something to read, too.

Hey, me too! started on recorder, picked up flute, and ca. 38 years ago ... well, this piece sounds real familiar, but I can't guarantee I could really play it, certainly not as well as Mr. Ridder plays it on the tuba.
