Anyone have one? Anyone have recommendations for new ones? Not planning to buy a luxury one. Just want it to fit reasonably well and offer reasonable protection.

When I had my 345 I used the Wessex bag made for their 345 clone. Minimal protection but very sturdy for backpack carry. I was happy with it

f.y.i. BBflat Holtons are almost always taller than any of the other big 6/4 piston horns that are usually (almost always) pitched in CC

Wessex says the correct bag for their BBb Prokofiev 6/4 tuba is model B800, here's the link -https://us.wessex-tubas.com/products/tu ... 7455043764 It's the same bag I used with my BBb345. To be sure measure the bell and overall height of your tuba.

I found a used Cronkhite bag for a 2165. Fits good. I’m happy

...so as you were planning to eventually put it in that, why did you have me straighten it all out?

Having a nice snug fitting Cronkhite really is it, as long as you don’t pack six other school repair instruments on top of it to deliver to schools.

@tubaing where did you find it? I’ll need one for mine when it’s all done.
