Hi all,
I'm looking to sell my Meinl Weston 37. It's a great CC and got me into college, but I've since bought a PT-6 and will be using that for the foreseeable future.

It has a really beautiful sound in the staff and I used it with success in solo, quintet, band, and orchestra playing. Sad to see it go but hope someone can give it a good home! It has some pings and scratches from normal use that don't affect the sound and the rotors and slides move well.

Asking $6,000 and it would come with a reunion blues gig bag (from the cronkhite era), hard case (not a flight case) and an old PT-50. Also would discuss a trade for a rotor F if that interests anyone.

Located in Michigan and willing to drive a few hours to meet a buyer. You can DM me here or preferably email: oliviatuba7@gmail.com

Thanks for looking!
Liv

Nice looking tuba! With the RH 5th valve, 3B valve linkages, and the bell engraving, this must've been one of the last batches they made of these.

How is the low register on this? It's been about 15 years since I've tried one of these, but I remember being surprised at how well it played, given the smaller bore size. It was a lot like a 186, but it didn't back up or break up nearly as quickly
