10 tubas?

Post by MikeFinn »

I teach at two small private schools, neither has a band budget, so I've collected a variety of instruments over the years for the kids to use in case they can't afford their own. (These are not the "rich kid" kind of private schools.) Long story short, I've got more tubas than I need - or maybe not enough tuba players - and it's time to downsize (the instruments, not the kids). Strangely enough, the first three tubas to go are Conn 10J, Reynolds TB10, and MW/Getzen Model 10. What is it with the number ten and tubas? Just a coincidence? hmmm... Oh, and this is not a clever advert, I've got some local buyers lined up for them. :smilie8:
