This is a picture of an aftermarket potentiometer knob for an electric guitar or bass.

How would you like to have this design Incorporated into the exterior shape of the cup of a mouthpiece?

In your scientific opinion, what would it do to "the sound"?

Does this "trigger" you?

For marketing, what would you think of naming it

You could call it the "Magnum" Opus. Perhaps model numbers like 38, 44, and 500m

Okay. Never mind. If it's already been done, it's already been done.

That looks like someone took a revolver cyclinder, gaudily plated it, and then mated it with a mouthpiece in a very unnatural way. :facepalm2:

Woof!

The texture could be OK, but other than perhaps at Mardi Gras, that color isn't "doing it" for me!

The JHP design inside requires too much milling IMHO, I prefer a Keith style.

But then it is either pointing at me or my tuba... neither is ideal in my book. Can you make it so it points at the director?
