Performer's stand

I just purchased a performer's stand for my euphonium. I know this is a stupid question.
The stand is only 24" tall and my drummer's throne is 24" tall. I have to bend over to play the euphonium.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

Did you get sent a tuba stand in error?

Unfortunately, a lot of stands say tuba/euphonium and they're just a tuba stand for someone that is in a seated position. If you're wanting to stand up and have the euphonium supported, I would recommend the K&M 14951 stand. I've had good luck with this stand, it has plenty of height for a tuba or a euphonium and it will support a heavy 6/4 tuba, so a euphonium would be no problem.

For standing/moving this seems like a better option:

It should also work while sitting.
