The conductor is a close friend's nephew, who I remember running around his uncle's back yard as a little kid.
Some of you have probably heard of him.
He's now grey-haired and stocky...I guess I'm getting old.

The Tubaplayer is Markus Hötzel and the tuba he is playing is a Gronitz Kaisertuba. The last one Dietrich Kleinehorst has built

I did a google image search for "Markus Hötzel tuba" because that's the sort of thing I often do.
I came across this picture of Mr Hötzel with a quite prominent Gronitz logo on the bell of his tuba.
Evidently Mr Hötzel is sometimes photographed playing a 3+1 E-flat tuba. I can't say I see many German tuba players with one of those in their lap.

As far as i know he plays Melton (MW) nowadays

The Meinl-Weston/Melton Fasolt and Gronitz BZK are very very similar looking.
