Me too. It's one of the newer style, but it's in impeccable condition. Might be time to get rid of it.Mithosphere wrote: ↑Mon Aug 16, 2021 9:40 pmDandyZ629 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 16, 2021 9:30 pm These have to be "troll" bids right?

I'm following this now! I have one of these... might be the easiest return on investment.

It’s baaa-ack! $1.4K. What a bargain!
Honest . . . Enlighten us on the folklore. I’m curious.matt g wrote:It’s now $400.
That’s not terribly out of line for this silly mouthpiece given the folklore that surrounds it.
It’s basically assumed to be “plug-n-play” for “cranking” and/or some aggressive banda-style playing.jonesbrass wrote: ↑Sun Aug 22, 2021 11:31 amHonest . . . Enlighten us on the folklore. I’m curious.matt g wrote:It’s now $400.

Hence folklore. It isn't "plug and play" by any means. If you try and muscle this thing, it backs up very quickly. Someone who kinda knows what they're doing though, can achieve some pretty insane results.matt g wrote: ↑Sun Aug 22, 2021 12:18 pmIt’s basically assumed to be “plug-n-play” for “cranking” and/or some aggressive banda-style playing.jonesbrass wrote: ↑Sun Aug 22, 2021 11:31 amHonest . . . No, it's definitely "plug-n-play" - just blow and you double your volume. I lent mine out to section mates during rehearsals back in Seattle and each immediately blurted out more than their other mouthpiece. A couple of them bought the one-piece LM-12 from like 10 minutes of playing on it.DandyZ629 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 22, 2021 5:13 pmHence folklore. It isn't "plug and play" by any means. Is definitely not my experience.Mithosphere wrote: ↑Sun Aug 22, 2021 8:39 pmNo, it's definitely "plug-n-play" - just blow and you double your volume. I barely use mine now - wondering how far this one will go...
