Trying a new thing tomorrow evening. Two of my friends will be performing with me as the Nowthen Ramblers at a Pioneer Days event near a local small town. Guitar, keyboards, bass, and all 3 of us are vocalists. We'll be playing a lot of the music we grew up with - the Everly Brothers, Linda Ronstadt, Gordon Lightfoot, Willie Nelson, Lorrie Morgan, Shania Twain, CCR, some Gospel, and more. Each of us has a broad background in performance, and have been singing together in a choir for about 8 years, but this is our first performance as a trio. Our 3 rehearsals went well (certainly wish there had been more, though). I'll give a report after we do the deed - and hopefully have a photo or two - but for now, here's the website for the event - http://www.england-prairie.org/Pioneer%20Days.html . If you happen to be in mid-Minnesota please trot on over and give some honest feedback - or at least enjoy the meals prepared by a gaggle of farm ladies.
It's not tuba, but I'm pleased to have the gig!
Tim

We went up to Hagerstown, MD yesterday to see the Heidi and Hiemat Echo German Band yesterday. These little festival gigs are nice, I missed them.

Beer Garden.
