The ukulele in the bell is a nice reference!

I owned one of these with a Miraphone 190 BBb bell swapped onto it with a slight extension of the main tuning slide legs to accommodate the slightly shorter bugle. It had a fantastic sound!

This would be a great 6/4 horn for someone looking for a fun outdoors tuba. False tones should be very resonant so 3 valves is ok. There were some slide manipulations needed on mine, especially for 123, but slides were accessible. There’s a couple of tweaks one could do with the slides to make things easier (e.g. mechanically tying those top two slides of the 3rd valve loop together), but I was getting out of playing when I sold mine. If I’d have kept it, a VMI 3301 set was going to get grafted on. My valves had seen better days.

These are very resonant tubas.

Also, I bought and sold mine for well more than this 15+ years ago. That’s a good price, imo.

I like that the top bow is so high above the next highest upper bow. Gives you a LOT of room to reach through to pull slides and/or support the tuba. I'm not sure if that makes the tuba less balanced or more top-heavy... but it's a nice looking design.

31 pounds, though... ouch

Mine was well balanced but I didn’t have the original bell. The slides are very easy to reach.
