Hello all,

I have a mouthpiece that I'm planning on making a cut away out of. Does anyone have experience doing this? If so, what did you do to plug up the end that inserts into the tuba? Are there any tips for this process at all? I plan to start the project this weekend.

The least expensive way to see whats going on inside the mouthpiece may be a clear Kelly lexan mouthpiece and a smartphone camera recording.
