Tuba Tuesday: Martin, Handcraft, double belled, B flat euphonium, 5 piston, c.1935

This Tuba Tuesday the Museum features a Martin, Handcraft, double belled, B flat euphonium, 5 piston, c.1935.
Bell diameters are 11 1/4″ & 6.0″, bore of .560″, and height of 29 1/4″.

Even though I know that the fifth valve is played with the left hand index finger, every time I look at one of those, my brain goes a bit squirrely trying to figure out if I'm seeing it right or if I've had too much to drink.
