Well, I pulled the trigger on a Martin Wilk-built Eb and need to recoup some funds. I'm selling my Eastman 853 Eb in raw brass that I purchased as a demo earlier in the pandemic. I had Martin Wilk shorten the third valve slides (common on this horn), rebrace it, and machine the valve caps for perfect alignment. Overall, I've got about $6,000 in this horn. I'm asking $4200. It's easy to play and is in great condition. It is NOT a shiny lacquer finish. Comes with hard case. There are numerous videos on my Youtube channel (William Pemberton) of this horn in action. Here are a couple:

Horn is in SE Michigan, outside of Ann Arbor. Buyer pays shipping.
Thanks!
William

Would like to see some video of the Conn Eb. I have been considering an 853 but timing has been a challenge. I purchased one other horn on Reverb through Affirm a few years ago

William has done at least three I can recall…
And I want that hi-tech page turner!!
truly true... he was my inspiration to do that. i'm not quite as accomplished but i've done the bordogni and the tyrell... i refer to his videos to see if i'm getting rhythms right.
EDIT: looking at bordogni there are a couple at the end I haven't begun yet. They look difficult at first glance.

This horn still needs a new home. Solid horn at an affordable price.
