E.M. Winston tubas were sold by Sam Ash in the 90's and I've acquired one recently. I've never seen valve guides like these in any other horn.

I don't need any now, but better to find some now than when I need them. Does anyone know if these are available anywhere? Pictures in link below....

with very little doubt:

Weril of Brazil - early vintage, as later, they went to guides similar to Yamaha guides

I get no intelligible responses from the people who bought all that stuff, and I've sent/received in their language (Portuguese).

I may (??) have a couple of those...but they vary.

I won't sell, but I might give...and you'll have to give me the o.d. of the white nylon parts, and not b!t¢h at me (like some whiny-@$$ sociology grad student) that they don't quite fit right, and that you will have to alter them. :gaah:

...but knock yourself out...

I'm good for now, as mine are in good shape. As usual, my questions are more out of curiosity than need.
The email address may come in handy one day (but I hope not). Now that I've stuck my toe into the small horn pond again, and my director and I really likes the sound of this thing in small groups, I'll probably buy something with 4 valves on it long before I ruin the valve guides.

OK...I have a few of them...but (again) them seem to vary a little bit.
