WTB: Silver King 1241/2341
I am very much looking for an older (detachable bell) silver King 1241/2341 for a project.
Most importantly I’m looking for the valve casings. However, I am interested in everything up to and including a complete horn.
Absolutely ideal would be a complete “body” with or without pistons. Condition not terribly important (as long as it hasn’t been run over by a steamroller).
Please, somebody have mercy on me and throw me a bone.
Any leads greatly appreciated.

Shucks, I have one but it's been freshly steamrolled.
JK. Good luck with your search! I will keep an eye out as well.

Perhaps I can put an air compressor to it and re-inflate it.

If only it were silver rather than ‘no lacquer’.

No need to apologize!
I thought the same when I first looked at it.

Especially the contrast between the old faded lacquer and the Eastlake Orange bell that's on it made me think the body was silver at a glance.York-aholic wrote: ↑Thu Nov 24, 2022 9:35 am No need to apologize!

I'll continue to keep an eye out. Happy Thanksgiving!
